Lee Creek Golf Club’s 5th Anniversary/Fundraising Day- August 25, 2010
Thank you to several members, non-members and out of town guests who participated. Everyone had a great day and all were pleasantly surprised at the prizes, gift certificates, etc… they received. Those who played that day are looking forward to having many more fundraising days and said it was more than worth the tax deductable fee especially with all they received in return. We managed to raise over $4,000.00 and our campaign continues.
A special thank you goes out to the members who joined us that day, as we know it is sometimes difficult to put out more dollars after you have already paid for a membership. Your support was appreciated. As many of you expressed it was well worth it, will do it again and will also encourage more members to get involved in the next one. Another special thanks to those golf club staff members who paid and participated that day. Your support shows us that you care about the progress our club needs to make.
I would also like to thank the following persons and businesses who donated prizes for our Fundraising day at Lee Creek Golf Club:
Ann and Carl Sigurdsen, Bonnie Cianfagna, Catwalk Canada, Crowsnest Pass Golf Club, Great Canadian Barn Dance, Loft 8 Canada, Magrath Golf Club, Paradise Canyon Resort, Picture Butte Golf Club, Pin High Canada, Ping Canada, Sandman Hotel, Treats Eatery, Waterton Lakes Golf Club, Wilson Sports. Thanks again to all of you.
The winner of our golf club draw, with several witnesses, was Bonnie Cianfagna! Upon congratulations
Bonnie graciously donated the clubs back to the golf club in order to have another draw and raise more funds for this season. Thank you Bonnie.
